Today I added some stuff to the site specifically for registered users. You need to register and log in to see the following items:
- "Messaging Center", where you can leave messages for other users on the site.
- "Forums" where you can have online discussions, ask me questions, etc.
- "Play Chess"
- "Calendar", any registered user can add items to the calendar.
- Mini calendar and upcoming events list added to right-hand column for logged in users.

Gallery2 is set up and running, all of the older pictures are there, and new ones will be added soon. Right now the "Family" albums are restricted, so if you want to see them you will need to register for an account and I will add you. Click the "Register" link in the logon box to the left. |

Welcome to Heimerman.org. Since the server crash, all content from the old website has been lost. I will be working slowly to rebuild this site in the coming months. There will be some fun stuff to play around with, so please check back soon.
The top item on my list is to get the photo gallery back up and running. Look for that before 2007. My second objective is to get a new look for the site. As you can see, I'm using Joomla for my backend content management. I've been using Joomla for all my new websites lately, and it's a great framework. Probably overkill for what I need for my own website, but that's okay. |
